I'm still trying to decide if I want to do an erase & install of Snow Leopard so I have a clean system with no 3rd-party add-ons installed before upgrading to Lion.
I normally do a clean install on new OS upgrades - but I skipeed doing that for Leopard and Snow Leopard.

I'll probably install right over my current Snow Leopard and if there are any problems, I'll format, install Snow Leopard, upgrade to 10.6.8, install 10.7, then migrate my info from Time Machine.

Come on buddy, I know what the specs say, but did you even try it? Like I said above, it plays in Leopard. I also just tried it in 10.4.11 on a G4 mini with Safari 3 and QT 7.5.5, it plays there too.
You're wrong about this one. No strong arming by Apple, just your strong head, and refusing to even click and try it.
Must be something wrong with your system then, it works here and on other computers in other places that don't meet their specs. Does it give just the big blue Q? What happens when you try to watch it?
