Whoa.
Seems like Apple threw the baby out with the bath water.

Makes me wonder if Apple even asked for 3rd party input for this ?

Apple has already started backing down. They will now be selling the old FinalCut Pro through special channels to education and corporate accounts.

The bottom line is that Apple has changed over the years from a "pro" market to a "consumer" market. They couldn't give a sh|t less about designers and movie makers anymore because they don't need them.
