I'm going to spitball and say it has something to do with the stinkin' Facebook "Like" button at the right of the menu bar -- since that's the only thing I can see that's Facebook-related on the page ...

Although I just read-up that page and didn't get the warning, so I'm guessing (again ;-) that's it's a cookie or something local on your machine? ...

Anyways, I'm right there with ya regarding Facebook, sister -- Most of the time, in my (brief) experience, it's either totally jammed with inconsequential garbage, just plain creepy, or both ;-)

I've been getting this when I cruise various sites. Apparently, it doesn't care where I am, it just pops up.





I've been hitting the cancel thingie, but this just ain't right. I DO NOT do Face Book. Now, LIttle Sister ~ She's got a sock (don't ask) and she's checked in with said sock from this Mac. But still, she's had that sucker for a long time. This weirdness has only started up the past week.

Am I under attack? What can I do to make it stop? Insult to injurty ~ Face Book? I detest the whole concept. Sigh. Clueless in Texas.

Limit it to just friends who you actually know and don't click on stuff you have no interest in. Simple.

It means that Safari can't verify the security certificate from that site (or maybe someone is trying to spoof FB on the trivia page).

I hate to say it but that's what I did =) I think I just don't like it conceptually -- I'm not terribly interested in the mostly-banal everyday rantings of even my friends. There wasn't anything I couldn't find out about my friends by, you know, talking to them; and much, much more I really couldn't care less about. And I'll *never* make the mistake of trying to look up old high school/college peoples -- that got pretty creepy fairly rapidly ...
