Ok we propose cutting Defense ($700 Billion ) by 50% !!! There's your cut... Then sit back and watch all the Republicans have heart attacks !! (incl. Cutting defense, would only mean putting thousand if not millions of people out of work = which means directly adding to the current problem. Yes cut some over seas bases and Yes cut some spending like instead of buying 20, F-22's maybe buy 10. Even today the current crop of military that are leaving are having a huge problem of finding jobs in the private sectors. The VERY last thing we need is the defense to drop a axe. _________________________

Maybe take the billions and plow into domestic projects... lose some military jobs, gain some civilian ones... we CAN be creative and better our infrastructure. _________________________ David (OFI) Mitt WHO ??

Everybody is having huge problems finding jobs. End the oil subsidies. End the corn subsidies. End the tax breaks for the uberwealthy. Reform/simplify the tax codes. I can go on and on. _________________________
