Meh... that's been in the news for a while. There are even apps you can download and check your own iPhone's travels. If this was recent news there wouldn't already be apps for it. I know where my iPhone has been.. why would I care who else knows? It takes a court order to get that info.

"Locationgate" is getting old. I can't believe how many people still believe Apple is tracking their location, even after it has been widely publicized that it's actually tracking wifi hotspots and cell towers, NOT your physical location.

Exactly. The comment threads on sites like TechCrunch, etc. are just going batsh!t crazy right now - even though they explain the situation in the article. People just want to bang on Apple - and the rather misleading headlines just make it easy for those people to find a place to start.
