Should Apple be responsible for stupid parents ? ?
Parenting 101
1 - Do NOT give your child passwords that has your credit card tied to it. 2 - Monitor your child's activities. 3 - Set rules and limits
A easy way around this - for stupid parents - is to purchase those pre-paid credit cards. Say give the kid 20 bucks a month card limit and let them learn how to budget.

Carp, you're out of your mind. Do you actually expect parents to take responsibility??? Next you'll want to have parents watch their kids when they're in the swimming pool! You just crazy dude!

Dang JD, what I was thinking
I later thought - I don't know because I don't have that problem with young kids.
But does Apple have a way to at iTunes to have different credit card accounts? ? Like you have yours, then your kid logs in as a different user, could they set up a different card account ? ? <-- if so, then this law suit is 100% totally baseless.

Sure. You could set up a separate Apple ID (with different credit cards for each one) for each person in your family if you wanted to.
But there again, stupid people will find a way to f#ck up anything, no matter how simple it is.
