I've got my HP Mini 110- (1212NR) netbook currently running 10.6 snow and need help getting the sound and wi-fi to work. I tried everything I could find but nothing seems to work so far. Also tried to update to 10.6.2 but couldn't get it going so I went back to 10.6 which runs good but I have no Wi-Fi or Sound capabilities.
Thanks for the reply, yes I've been to kexts.com but since I'm not too in depth as most on that page are I don't know exactly what kext to look for or to ask for. I put up a post on the"audio" forum with the same post I have here but haven't had a response yet. My HP 110 runs great on 10.6 and I'd be happy if I could just get the sound working since I wanted to use this laptop on gigs. (I'm a musician)
I currently have 10.6 successfully installed. I was only able to get 10.6 to run, when I tried to continue with the 10.6.2 update it would only show the grey apple boot-up screen and wouldn't go any further so I went back to 10.6 I'd love to get up to 10.6.4 especially if I could get the sound working.
