It's hockey rules now.

Two minutes minor penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. wink

I'm wondering, why did keymaker post this in the soapbox, since there's nothing political in it. The article itself is quite interesting actually.

Hockey rules it is, then. And speaking of pucked up, when I was in college in Boston, my friends and I used to hang out at the same pub as former Bruins like Wayne Cashman, Derek Sanderson, Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Gerry Cheevers, and Dallas Smith — just to name a few. At least, those are the guys that would hit the Tam O'Shanter on Beacon St. after most home games. And we'd be there to get sh!tfaced with them. Unsportsmanlike conduct? They wrote the book. And we memorized it! grin

As for why km's choice of forums for this thread, or why he would inject sex in to it, that's another sports metaphor: Fishing.

The reference to sex is a bit weird....whatever.

Pain is ok but a needle makes you boys faint!

Quote:
The type of needle phobia described in Dr. Hamilton's article is characterized by the vasovagal reflex reaction, a frightening reaction which includes plunging blood pressure and (often) loss of consciousness. This reaction generally occurs only after the onset of puberty, and is more common in men than women.

Ha! Would you believe I once made a nurse nervous as she was trying to stick a needle in me? Finally she asked me to look away. Ok, so I guess I get a little quite uncomfortable at the idea of someone sticking a needle in me, so I handle it by focusing on the needle going through my skin. That's what made the nurse nervous, she got stage fright.

Cool story. I guess a sober athlete was an urban legend even in those days. The harder the sport, the harder they drink.

Yep, he fishes and you bite. laugh

There are women who love sex quite a bit...

Yeah but straight women prolly only go to bed with men as a price worth paying for a relationship. If they liked sex as much as men there'd prolly be straight cruising areas as there are gay cruising areas. Women would go and hang about in churchyards or places like Hampstead Heath to meet strangers but it doesn't happen.

Gay cruising areas? From "women don't like sex" to . . . Gay cruising areas?!!? And this moron wonders why we all laugh at him and point out how relentlessly and hopelessly homophobic he is?!? Dear Lord in Heaven! If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck and inserts "gay" into every other friggin' post . . .

Edit: This post would contain about ten more of the little LOL dudes, but I finally fell outta my own chair ~ I was laughin' that hard.
