I thought that was quite interesting that whilst women enjoy sex less they feel pain more than men... you would think with the pain of childbirth that women would be better adapted than men for enduring pain?

Hockey rules it is, then. And speaking of pucked up, when I was in college in Boston, my friends and I used to hang out at the same pub as former Bruins like Wayne Cashman, Derek Sanderson, Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Gerry Cheevers, and Dallas Smith — just to name a few. At least, those are the guys that would hit the Tam O'Shanter on Beacon St. after most home games. And we'd be there to get sh!tfaced with them. Unsportsmanlike conduct? They wrote the book. And we memorized it!
As for why km's choice of forums for this thread, or why he would inject sex in to it, that's another sports metaphor: Fishing.
The type of needle phobia described in Dr. Hamilton's article is characterized by the vasovagal reflex reaction, a frightening reaction which includes plunging blood pressure and (often) loss of consciousness. This reaction generally occurs only after the onset of puberty, and is more common in men than women.

Ha! Would you believe I once made a nurse nervous as she was trying to stick a needle in me? Finally she asked me to look away. Ok, so I guess I get a little quite uncomfortable at the idea of someone sticking a needle in me, so I handle it by focusing on the needle going through my skin. That's what made the nurse nervous, she got stage fright.

There are women who love sex quite a bit...
Yeah but straight women prolly only go to bed with men as a price worth paying for a relationship. If they liked sex as much as men there'd prolly be straight cruising areas as there are gay cruising areas. Women would go and hang about in churchyards or places like Hampstead Heath to meet strangers but it doesn't happen.
Gay cruising areas? From "women don't like sex" to . . . Gay cruising areas?!!? And this moron wonders why we all laugh at him and point out how relentlessly and hopelessly homophobic he is?!? Dear Lord in Heaven! If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck and inserts "gay" into every other friggin' post . . .
Edit: This post would contain about ten more of the little LOL dudes, but I finally fell outta my own chair ~ I was laughin' that hard.

Show a little compassion will you, for crying out loud! The man (?) is crying out for help. He desperately wants to know where the gay cruising areas are. And all you can do is ridicule him. Move over, eh?
Oh, for sure, he wants to ride the bicycle. I wish he would and just get the fk' over it.
I do know some spots in Austin . . . No. Those girls have pretty good taste. That ballerina would have to fly outta the closet on gossamer wings before they'd even sniff.

Oh, you mean THIS OTHER STORY*. You seriously need to read at least one good book on web usability to drop the bad habit of mystery clicking. Don't Make Me Think!
*For the rest of you lot, it really is a story about a gay British actor talking about cruising areas and stuff keymaker just quoted word for word.

You must be kidding! Anyone speaking with a refined British accent qualifies as an intellectual stateside. At least from what I gather from American films and tv shows.

Earth to KM? We. Don't. Care.
You've successfully dissolved yourself into ~ KM = Intentionally baiting moron **** posts. Everybody else = Sometimes it's fun to jack with said moron ****, and sometimes it's just boring.
All adds up to ~ KM = Zero credibility and a now complete inability to be taken seriously on anything.
Yawn . . .

Just because he came out with a theory you don't like doesn't make him a moron ****... it's the other way around actually - he usually thinks about what he says and you don't.

I'm afraid the whole thing's gone completely over your head - the allusion to Stephen Fry is in the first sentence of my opening post. MM picked it up - maybe you should read all of his posts not just one of 'em.

It was this post, where I provided the link and gave a professional consultation on web usability to Keymaker. I'm with stupid all around today, it seems.

Why the allusions, why do you always like to play games with people's heads, that's a bit psycho. Is it so hard for you to just come out and say what you mean and relate to people in a one on one conversation without all of the game playing ? Afraid of commitment?

Of course, why we all did not see that allusion is a mystery. Because if you read the quote carefully it is in your face. Let me just look at that again.

Yup, there it is alright. The obvious allusion to Stephen Fry in the very first sentence of your opening post.

You mean like certain (cough) members use it to disseminate falsehoods against some others? Used constructively it's a well known device deployed by writers to convey meaning indirectly - quite appropriate in this instance because without it we'd never have known what that lot given to knee-jerk personal attacks really thought of Stephen Fry. Now we know.
What do you make of Stephen Fry's opinion that women don't really like sex but see it as a price they're willing to pay for a relationship?
km
Women are just as capable as men of enjoying sex and his remarks are 'kind of rubbish', says feminist Miss Piggy. And here's why;
* The clitoris is the most sensitive of all female body parts. * The clitoris contains 8,000 nerve endings, contrasted to 4,000 for the penis. * It interacts actively with over 15,000 additional nerve endings throughout the pelvis. * In short, it is exquisitely sensitive. * The only function of the clitoris is ecstasy, leading to orgasm.
Upon further scrutiny, looks like women might enjoy it twice as much as men.

You are correct Leslie. It is more of an approach to western woman, they prefer to be romanced before sex. They are looking for Love
KM Point of view is more for Muslim women, who are largely vastly under educated, who are told who to marry, cannot even have a job or any sense of independence, must cover them selves up, with no sense of femininity. The only way they can survived is to get married, be a sex slave = a price they're willing to pay for a relationship? The price for life.

Too, stupid is more like it.
There was a time in the US even, say about 60 to 70 years ago, where women would look into relationships as a way to survive. They were raised to believe that the husband is the bread winner and will support them and their children = house wives.
Today, women are totally independent , many make more money then males. They are well educated, they seek romance and love, not to pay a price in any sense of the imagination.
Either this Stephen Fry, guy - is 60 years behind his studies or he is talking about Muslim Women in general <-- which is it ? ?

Well then, if his "experiences" have been with Jewish women (who let you know they've "arrived" by dropping their nail files), he's even more out of his depth than you!

That would be strange - it's usually you knee-jerkers trying to locate the homophobes - so far we've got President Obama, Elton John, Stephen Fry and me - pity you're wrong on every single one of 'em - all you have to do is read your own posts or look in the mirror.

On the contrary, I thought some of his music was really great - especially 'Bad Boys'... although it was very irreverent of his parents...
I don't agree with his public toilet theories because we used to live at Hampstead Heath when my first son was born and I'd have done anything to protect him from that kind of thing... although George wasn't cruising around there in those days.
