Well, reading on that site, I have to wonder if perhaps some of the comments might be right:
Sept release of 7" iPad (not sure about this since Steve dismissed the 7" screen before) And release of one for Verizon
But another thing to consider is the shopping season. Release one in Sept and wham, there goes the skyrocket sales for the holidays. Smart move.
I plan on getting the iPad 2 when it is released. If they do come out with a better one in the fall, I'll get that one and let my son have the older one. But release #3 would have to be substantially better than #2, like #2 is sounding like it is over #1.
My thinking is they might release iPad3 in fall and make it with a retina display since iPad2 has little chance of having this feature. They could also add a 2nd camera (that still unsure for iPad2) and even a USB or data port which many claim the XOOM has, and is an advantage not to have to transfer everything WiFi.
I suspect XOOM may give iPad 2 a tough fight and Apple could push out the iPad 3 early to make the iPad series take a leap ahead and a stronger winner. Who knows though, could just be BS !
Also someone could just throw that rumor out to dampen iPad2 sales ! (who'd buy iPad2 when iPad3 is 4-5 months away?)
