Ordinarily, one with KO's credentials — and the very golden parachute he jumped out of Rock Center with — would take a few months to decompress before working on his resume. I'd wager this was in the works while he was still at MSNBC, and may even have been the real reason for his abrupt departure. Nice work if you can get it.
I've never watched Current, and have only heard of it on the periphery of my radar, but I've already got it set up on my favorites list, and will be interested to see how Countdown The Clone shakes out. These days, I'm mostly staying with Maddow. O'Donnell I watch once in a while. Ed I can't stand, and I'm rarely able to sit down in front of the TV machine until well after Tweety is over.
