I contacted Apple in Singapore and they are replacing me with a brand new mac book air 13 inch with 128 hd.I hve to pay the difference at that is it. great company to deal with.

khicke Registered: 01/13/11 Posts: 24	You should pop in a Cd of ubuntu and run a diagnostic on your HD, and see if it comes up with anything. (just for lolz) Ubuntu has a great utility I am not quite sure where, somewhere in the administrative tools. But it tells you a ton of information about the life and sectors of your disk. I have had an apple tec say my hd was dieing and fixed something else, then my hd died...
