Both sides have to sit down without the US intervening and propose peace plans for Israel and Palestine. Benjamin N has to bend sometime with these people they do deserve what they are fighting for to live in peace.
This exchange sent me into a real laughing out loud, side splitting episode! Best laugh I've had in many a day. Phew!
It is crazy/funny. I —to funny— had to laugh too, although it was disappointing that the message didn't get through to our friend. I usually attribute these crazy answers to not reading well mine —or someone else's— post, consequently they cant get into topic. I suspect carp looked over my post and didn't bother to read the original article. What appears in my post is just but, about, maybe, one fifth of the content of the original article. (Yes! can you believe that the whole article is not on my post? That's what the link is for…!)

Can you believe it? How predictable can dogmatic people be? carp confirms Avnery's explanation. Following is a color coded quote of Avnery's article that appeared in my original post so you can compare reality and prediction:
"In the eyes of our conversation partners [carp, in this case], questions about whether it is worthwhile to make peace or not, whether peace is good or bad for the Jews, are meaningless, if not downright stupid. Questions which make no sense, since we are having a debate only with ourselves.
There will never be peace, because the Arabs will never want peace. End of discussion."

You only need to look at solving the first problem, which I mentioned already.
The middle east is very complicated - one first problem is that the Palestinians have never agreed that Israel has the right to exist <-- you can go back to the dogma for that. Start there, solve that and then start on the other issues.
Why does the USA have to bribe Israel and Palestine by offering Israel 39 jets to have plus other aircraft and giving Palestine over I believe 6 million dollars to start to negotiate peace ? where people in our own country are striving to get jobs and 15% of the people are not fully eating at all. What gives with this?
