Ford owns Lincoln and GM owns Chevy and Pontiac so guess what they all from a similar family of parts and trims.. I will say that Pontiac has more distinctive cars, interior as well compared to Chevy and GM re-badging.
My 2000 Grand Marquis is more upscale on the interior from the Ford Crown Vic although chassis wise they are the same
Back in '76 we bought a Chevy Malibu station wagon. When we took position, it had a Buick emblem and the name "Buick" on the steering wheel. It also had a bulb out in the back which I wanted replaced. I took it back to the Chevy dealer to fix the bulb and happen to mention the Buick name plate. Thatbwas the first thing they changed.
If we don't count our blessings We are just wasting our time
