I figured if it was onboard, then it was a fixed amount. After market cards are all fixed.. right? I have never bought a PCI or AGP card that had modifiable vram. Try zapping the PRAM. Apple-Option-P-R at startup until you hear the startup chime again. I think it came originally with 2 Mb and there has been a 4Mb chip installed. How do I find out how much is showing? I cannot find a reference to it in System Profiler.
