My Dad has an old projection TV still. It's huge, but that's about it. I was there last weekend and was watching the football game, it was horrific. I was squinting the whole time like I was 200 feet away because the thing looks out of focus. 5 feet away from an 80" TV and you can barely read the type.
Thankfully it's not one of the really old ones where they shot the picture out of lenses, bounced it off a mirror and back onto a screen. Those were horrendous even when they were new.
15 years ago we marveled at how good the picture was on the thing. The picture actually hasn't changed on it at all. Today my phone has a better sharper picture.

A Giants-Yankees series would be great as I don't believe they've ever faced each other since the Giants went west. But the Yankees have sucked and are due to play up to their talent, so, for winnings sake, it's better to face the Rangers. Hopefully the Yankees won't pull it together to save themselves.
Lincecum really needs a 100MPH fastball, or he'll eventually end up like Barry Zito ( I believe he's benched for the remainder ). But I guess for $9M/year, Lincecum is a pretty good deal. Zito gets like 20 - They'll never be able to get rid of that guy.
