Hi Kids!
Quick question: while poking around in /system/library/frameworks I noticed, much to my chagrin, that ALL of the localizations were intact. "Hmmmm....", I sez to myself. That's odd as I thought I had removed all such useless localizations long ago. They are absent from ~/library/frameworks. How come apps like CleanMyMac and DeLocalizer skipped the localizations in the system directory?
So, is it safe to go ahead and remove them from that folder or not?

Dunno....I think they's evil, I tells ya, evil! They's thangs o' the devil, they is. And if you add them up they actually amount to something substantial. Check out the frameworks folder in the sys dir.
Oooooo, I wanna get rid o' them! It's like that itch you get in the middle of your back....when you're alone....on the bus.....with people watching.

If you need the drive space, with 1TB drives going for around $60, I'd be passin' on the idea, not worth the worry IMO for the problems I've seen removing, or trying to remove, localizations has caused.
I guess this Kid's not seeing it. My Frameworks is only 1.4G. I always install the system with no additional languages. Most of the space. 1G, is in...
...of which none of it is localizations, most of it is binaries needed for the system, and 800M is in the first 4. That leaves 74 folders for 400M worth, which on my system I don't see any localization files in, and again, the major size is the binaries.
That itch is all in your head BTW, just a nervous tic.

Hmmmmm......good sound advice, I suppose even though a Gig ain't hay (even with my big, honking TB drive). I'll just ignore 'em. Pretend they're not there. Think of other things.....other things.....I'll concentrate on loosing actual weight.
Feh! If I could just reach......
