I closed Now Up To Date as usual and when I reopened it I received the following message: Unexpected error (unexpected end of file) id=-39. Now Contact opens fine. I also can't open my backup calendar file because I receive the same message. I also tried reinstalling the software but I get the same message. Help?

End of file -39 is a standard corrupt file/database. Try using a backup.

Thanks. I did try and I still get the same message. I tried uninstalling teh software and reinstalling but the error message continues. I'm guessing I need to delete a specific file that is somewhere on my computer but I have no idea what or where.

Look in the ~/Library/Application Support folders, also in the ~/Library/Preferences folder for a corrupt preference file. Maybe even a cache file/folder in ~/Library/Caches.

Don't delete any files, just move them from their original locations.

~ is your users folder BTW, Users/you/Library/...
