You cannot sound bite those numbers and make them interesting. No sale. The day an article like that gets on the front pages is the day we start living in a democracy with an intelligent and informed populace.
No, we have to ignore it because we are not economists same way we have to ignore DADT because we are not gay or want to be in the military.
I know you're joking, but one can take the main points and drive them home... you just have to make the message simple . . . for the academically challenged who listen to the TPers and the GOP propaganda machines.
Point is, income dropped and so did the # of jobs, and esp. the previously better paying ones. I'm not talking the 6 figure+ ones - I'm talking those >$50,000 to the 6 figures - the mainstay of the middle class.
We'll see in Nov... I think the Dems will lose seats, but not enough to lose majority. Could be very close though. To take the Senate the GOP-stapo almost need a clean sweep. I think they'll gain 4-5, but fall short. Angle, O'Donnell, and a couple of others are now trailing. Saw a graph tonight where O'Donnell is getting 85% of her funding out of state! That ought to PO many voters.

Just heard a news report this morning that 50% of the income in the US is now earned (owned) by the top 20%. Combine that with the fact that a record 1 in 7 US citizens are living below the poverty line. Heck of a job, rethugicans!
