IMO Apple will come out with NOT a TV top box - Rather a 52 inch iMac type of TV.
1 - Play any, cable or satellite service. 2 - Play any content off your computer. 3 - Play any content off your devices, PS3 or Xbox or WII or iPhone yada yada. 4 - Use the TV as if it was a computer.
Simply play content without having to buy other devices - All in One.

Yeah, I see where there's a number of good brand flatscreens in the 46"-55" range, 1080P 120Hz, under $1000; and with a few brands such as LG with 42" 120Hz 1080P $481-499 ( so, last year the holiday season sub-$500 was a 42" 1080P, so it looks like this season sub-$500 will be a 42" lineup ).
So, I'd imagine next year sometime a 52" will be pretty cheap, so with cheap silicon for a standard-issue quick crashless webkit-c libs-javascript OS and wifi, if it was me, I'd be careful with that Apple premium and a crazy sick ridiculous price point. Besides, I think Google has inked or will ink deals with the likes of Sony ( for sure ), LG and the like, for Android TVs ( basically same thing: tv with webkit-javascript-c libs OS and wifi ).
That's interesting. We knew there was some reason for Jobs keeping AppleTV alive. Work the bugs out then integrate the ATV with a computer and a 52" screen. The iMac of the entertainment system, AIO.
