Gives new meaning to "You're gettin a H3LL, Dude !" I kinda feel a little (emphasize little) sorry for M Dell, he left & others fscked the company up, he has to come back to try to save it... reminds me of Jobs and Apple.
Steve should come out and make a press release that Mike should dissolve the company.. lol
**edit - Okay, not that I'm defending Dell as a company but the period they mention was a plague on the entire electronics industry. There was a very high profile case where one company stole the electrolytic formula for it's capacitors from another company, only the formula wasn't complete and they produced literally billions of caps that ended up in computers ranging from Apple to Dell to Sony. Remember the white iMacs that had huge failure rates with the power supplies?
Which only goes to show that we as consumers need to demand and pay more attention to the components going into our electronics.

Yeah, a series of G5 iMacs had the same problems with mother boards and power supplies. Most every electronics manufacturer was hit by the faulty capacitors.
One reason I enjoy building PC's instead of cookie cutters like Dells. The motherboard I currently have uses dry caps manufactured in Japan, not some cheap junk from China. It's easier to know what you're actually getting without having to rely on some teardown site to find out for you.
