It was in Shanghai two days ago, in Anchorage yesterday, and in my hot hands today. We were supposed to get it on Tuesday of next week--but I'll take it today, thankyouverymuch.

Hey, someone has to set it up.

This is the first time I've been pissed with Samsung. My wife has an older ML-1710 laser printer. I had to reinstall the drivers because the new laptop wasn't seeing the printer at all. So I go to the Samsung site--and there's no Mac driver for that model. Now, we've been using the printer on a Mac for 5 or 6 years, but now they say they don't support Macs. So I did a little googling and found the drivers, actually at a Samsung site, just hidden away somewhere. The claim is that the drivers are only for 10.3, but I've used the drivers with 10.4, 10.5, and now 10.6 with no problem at all.

No generic Apple drivers?

Nope. But it's all good now. I knew the stupid things were compatible, but I just couldn't find them at the Samsung site.

I mean maybe 20 years ago, I would hear no Mac support but this day and age is rather silly to stiff arm Apple.

Well, the 1710 is a VERY old printer and they've stopped updating the drivers. What bothers me is that even though it works on all the OS X systems, they hide it away for some reason.
