A friend of mines 2G iPod touch crashed during an update.
She brought to me, and I did a complete restore back to factory specs, and upgraded to iOS4.
She went home and reloaded all music and apps. Now all 3rd party apps crash. They open for a split second, then back to the home screen. Apple native apps work fine.
I deleted Pandora, and reinstalled from App Store. Same problem. Looks like a lot of people have same problem on Apple discussion boards, but I need to be at her computer to reinstall, backup, etc. That's not going to happen. I'm not sure what to tell her.
Is there anyone else with these kinda problems?

On my old iPhone I installed iOS4 and the same thing happened to some of my apps. Since I've had my new iPhone, it does not happen anymore.

According to the Apple Discussion boards I read, lots of people stopped the crashes by taking off iOS4 and going back to the previous OS. Sux huh?

Doesn't look like a simple trick to downgrade.
I hate doing something like that to other peoples (expensive) toys.
Hopefully a trip to the Apple Store will help.
