A friend of mines 2G iPod touch crashed during an update. She brought to me, and I did a complete restore back to factory specs, and upgraded to iOS4. She went home and reloaded all music and apps. Now all 3rd party apps crash. They open for a split second, then back to the home screen. Apple native apps work fine. I deleted Pandora, and reinstalled from App Store. Same problem. Looks like a lot of people have same problem on Apple discussion boards, but I need to be at her computer to reinstall, backup, etc. That's not going to happen. I'm not sure what to tell her. Is there anyone else with these kinda problems?
