This one might be a bit too difficult for you... do you know in Pages when you make a list you can select bullet styles from the text inspector? Well, is it possible to get a cleaned-up alpha image in as a custom bullet? You can get a square graphic in alright - I want a circular one that looks like this:

I wonder which image file formats can be used for the bullet images? Since they can be set to scale as a percentage of the text size, it sure would be nice if a vector format—like .SVG—could be used.
That said, though...I'm positive I've seen that exact symbol in a font. I thought I had a font which contains it, but I just checked, and I don't.

I decided this was a good opportunity to dig into FontForge.
I created a new font, and made a glyph out of your "Play" symbol, above. It should be accessible by typing a capital "P". It's the only character in the font.
Grab the following TrueType font I generated and see if it installs & works for you.

I just got around to loading the "PlayButtonGlyph.ttf" font. It shows up in your system as a Windows TrueType font, named "Untitled1". Don't have a real good handle on how to use FontForge, but the font I created does work.
