You gotta get one of the free Barcode scanning apps. You scan the bar code on an item in the store and it shows you how much the item costs at other stores, customer reviews, etc...

Not to mention there an app (coupon finder) <-- something like that? Anyway download all sorts of coupons and have the clerk just scan your iPhone, first ask your store if they would do that? Some still may need the paper coupon.

If I had an iPad I probably would not need an iPhone. Need? Want -- ha! I still want an iPad very much but I know I'd end up carrying the iPhone, iPad and Kindle all -- all the time. I'd have to get a backpack fer sure.
I've seen "books" on both the Kindle and iPad. The Kindle is a much "softer" reading situation. The gloss of the iPad irritates me -- but then I got use to my iMac, so I'd get use to reading on the iPad I am sure.
I am waiting anxiously with you for you to get your new toy!!

It's not just the retina display which is fabulous, but most recent new phones screens are so much sharper.
After looking at my droid all day, when I go home if I pick up the iPod I almost can't stand to look at the thing because it seems like I'm staring through a screen door.
