Wiped out all my events on my home and work computer. Everything is still on MobileMe, but no matter how many times I've tried to re-sync from "the cloud" to my computers, nothing happens. Checked Apple discussions, and I'm not the only one. The persons who have succeeded in restoring the events said it happened "all by itself", after syncing multiple times. Too bad, because I like the look of the new Mail and iCal betas. Is it me, or has Apple been having more quality control issues the larger they become? Anyway, NOT HAPPY.
Haven't tried the beta. I'll wait until it is ready for prime-time.
iCal, mobile me, and the iPhone have never worked right. I personally have seen this happen with a few customers. It's frustrating for them as they rely on it for their appointments. Some events just don't make it to or from the phone sometimes, not good.
