You should have tried the swype keyboard on the x. I can literally type faster on this then a real keyboard! Takes a little practice at first but they need to make a real keyboard like this.
The camera is okay I haven't played with it much yet. In the end they are all still crappy cell phone cameras. They need to put real optics in these things.
I'm pretty happy.Streamed pandora all afternoon and had the phone running all day and still came home to a 30% battery. My old phone would have been dead by noon. The battery life seems to be darn good.

There are plenty of free apps that allow you to text from the iPhone/iPod Touch without a text plan with AT&T. Probably not as convenient, but does the job. I use it on my iPod Touch often.

Okay, I see how you read that, but for once I wasn't being a smart ass. We need a serious winkie or something. :-| I meant sending a text message to a cell phone via email. area code plus phone number@text.att.net or @vtext.com for verizon. There are addys for Sprint, T-Mobile etc but don't know those off the top of my head.
When they reply back it comes back through your email.
That's how I text my son, Reboot. Saves on the numb-thumb syndrome.
Yeah, my hands and forearm tendons are beat up enough from repetitive crap as it is. It's also much quicker for me to send text messages that way than typing on the little keypad on a phone.
I don't have a text plan, I don't send or receive near enough. 5 or 6 a month.
