Ok ... we now have the new server/provider in place for the forums. This is a setup that is far better suited to hosting the forums than the prior solutions ... not because they were bad, but because they were meant for different things.

In the next couple of days, we'll be migrating the forums to the new server. When that happens, we'll close the forums, export the files, move them, and reopen.

Without going into detail as to why (sorry, I'm just short on time), after this migration, I hope that the "new user" problem, the 0s since last post problem, and some other issues will go away.

We're juggling a lot of balls right now -- but I think we're close to having a permanent solution that suits everyone's needs best.

Forum migration has started. Forums will be closed until they are re-opened on the new server, but you can view the prior posts in the mean time.

Hi all,

We're now on the new server, and over the next week, we'll be making a number of tweaks to improve performance and fix some of the other issues. One step at a time, but this was a big one to say the least.

Just an update on this. During these adjustments over the next week or so, you may periodically see a few layout oddities. They should be short lived when they do pop up, but wanted everyone to be aware.
