Yeah, normally I agree with his one liners …not so this time.
Complicated issue. One easy solution for them would be to just suck it up and allow iPhone owners to snag a free bumper. Problem alleviated …and it's a damn cheap solution for Apple.

I agree good solution and cheap if was for free.
However if Apple is correct, that only 1 production run was shipped without the antennae protective coating. Then it would be better for Apple to replace the phones - then be done with the issue forever.
Personally; If I had an iPhone, I would not want a Bumper or a case. I prefer but naked
