I just sent a PM to someone here - then the site told me I'd received one (flashing envelope icon), but it turned out to be telling me about the one I'd just sent!

If it's brokenless, don't suffix it...

Just sent you a test PM.

Can you be specific on what you did to send the PM? Send me one.

I sent one to my test sock and it did it to me. I sent one to you and it didn't. But after reading your reply to me your reply still showed as unread in my list, and the icon was still flashing.

This is probably tied to making a reply in a post and then it showing as unread in the forum list.

Also, when I went to read the reply again it still said Unread By: Reboot at the bottom.

The timing is off, something's not updating fast enough. Come to think of it, if it's a timing thing, it may have something to do with this thread, where this thread was moved from.

Two separate problems, but both may be caused by the same.

Or I could be so wrong about it all. grin

I can't figure any pattern to this. I sent two today, the first one I sent showed as unread after I sent it, the second one didn't.

What's weird is that I don't get any of these problems here at work or home.

I'm at a different location, different computer, and I just had the PM notification problem.

Then I wonder if it's connected to your ID then?
