John Rougeux Here? Registered: 11/06/08 Posts: 5031	My dad has the 8 core Mac Pro at his house that is at least 2 years old. He has had problems with it on and off since he bought it. Last week it died again with lights blinking on the motherboard. So Apple shipped him a new one to replace his old one. He only paid for the video card upgrade! Two 2.66GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 6GB (6x1GB) 640GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512MB One 18x SuperDrive $4,699.00 Guess it certainly does pay to get AppleCare for the desktops too!
