Eh, lost the passion. And a few other things made it easy to just let go.
When I got the D700 and the nice lenses and such, the idea was that the jobs that I did get would pay for them. So, after 5 years now, I haven't grown any and in fact I have gotten less jobs it seems. Had 1 wedding this year and that's all I have.
So, rather than feel saddled with a credit card debt (0% interest and half of that was for the iMac), I sold everything off and got the D5000 with 18-55VR lens for family use.
Now my camera and card are all paid off. Feels good. At least until we get the loan for the new air conditioner we have to get. (another reason)
