trey Custom Title (50 characters max) Registered: 01/02/03 Posts: 5104 Loc: The Wizard's Balcony	Anyone else seeing this? I don't know when it showed up, but it's in SU on my MacBook. I don't have a Time Capsule, but I backup wirelessly to a USB drive attached to my Power Mac. I'm kind of worried that it'll break my "unsupported" backup volume... would I be able to restore from my TM backup if this hoses my, um, TM backup?

Doesn't it indicate that my original backup was jacked up? It's not that big a deal, there's nothing important on this laptop that's not already on my desktop. Maybe my iPhone apps.

The problem may be if one backs up a lot of data wirelessly, "it could take hours" is being kind. I have clients that backup 160G + wirelessly. I do initial backups wired. I don't know how long the initial backup would take wirelessly, but wired to the Time Capsule it takes overnight and then some.
