Just the current models. I haven't been in front of one yet but the ones that came out last year can't do that.

Is NG4 referring to the dual GPUs or to the new auto-switching?

I looked it up with MacTracker. Early 2009 which was 2 refreshes back.

I was referring to the dual GPUs.

Back to your original question: Are MBPs the only laptops to use multiple GPU configurations, or are there similar designs/options on the PC side?

Go back a couple of clicks, Late-2008 was the first dual GPU. I have donated to MacTracker a few times, I use it all the time.

Looking around it seems some PC's have dual GPU's, but I think they run in parallel or something for more speed, not one for power saving and one for performance like the MBP.

Yes, you are correct. I was only looking at the 17". It was introduced first in 15" in late 08.
