I exported my ACT data (over 3,000 contacts) into a tab delimited text file but Now X wouldn't recognize the file to import it. I opened the text file in excel and re-saved as a text file- but still no luck.

Import the text file into Now Contact 5.3.2 first, and then import the Now Contact file into Now X. You can download 5.3.2 and use it free for 30 days here: http://www.nowsoftware.com/download
