How do I email a group of contacts under one group name? Say for example I have 50 architects that I want to email. I don't want all of their names to show in my email program but as far as I can tell that's what happens when I I use the drop down menu under Contact/email.
And tacking on to this, how would one mail to 50 people an email without running afoul of the mail servers of your ISP? I haven't found a good version on the Mac to use that throttles the emails. Hopeful, but can't imagine this in included in Nighthawk.
Okay, I know I've deleted posts in the past for advertising non-Now products, but this isn't really competition, so I'll stretch my own rules a bit. Internally we use a program called "MaxBulk Mailer" from a company called maxprog. It has a throttle preference so you can tell it how many simultaneous connections to make to your mail server at a time, and other great features like email merge. As an added bonus, it works very well with exported tab-delimited files from Now Contact. So, all you need to do is select a batch of contacts from Now Contact, export them to text, selecting the fields you want to transfer over, then import into your mail list in MaxBulk Mailer.

Unfortunately, Sean, your solution is not very helpful. I'm looking for something that is as easy as a mail merge from NH, or even Address Book, that also handles the bulk mailing aspects. To have to export a file to then use for mailing is rather kludgy, especially in this day and age. I was hoping something might even be built in to NH, but obviously it isn't and isn't even being considered.
