I use Time Machine to backup. When I try to look at a backup copy of my calendar , whose file name is MY CALENDAR.bu , I only get a small transparent window which has my calendar file name, the type of file and size, and the last date modified. The path I take to access my file is: USERS/MYUSER FILE/DOCUMENTS/2008.nud.bu/MY CALENDAR.nud.bu/MY CALENDAR.bu How can I see a backup of my actual calendar ?
Do you mean that you want to view the contents of the calendar file through Time Machine, i.e. see the events themselves? If so, that's not possible. That would take a QuickLook plug and none exist for NUCD files (and probably never well unless some user takes it upon him/herself to write one).
If that's not what you meant, please post back and clarify.
Regards.

I may not know the correct language so let's try this. My calendar is a full screen window that shows squares for every day in the current month, and in those squares show events I have listed, and holidays, all in various colors and type faces I have set in " sets " and priorities. That is what I want to look at in Time Machine. Is that possible, or is Time Machine lacking in the ability to do it?
No, again, you cannot view any of the information within either the NUDC calendar or contact files in Time Machine. You would have to restore the file and then open it with Now Up-To-Date to view any of the actual data.
