I'm looking at the new Treo Pro and 800w wondering if Palm will only make Windows based phones now? As a Mac user and long time Treo user, I'm very troubled by this
I've been using palm tungsten for years now and haven't seen a palm update for what... 5 years? I don't mind cause I don't need anything it doesn't do for now... I do use the mac too. So don't expect to see any updates. You can get a palm phone and it will work fine as it is but don't expect it to change or improve. They just came out today with their new OS nova.
Not sure if Palm's stopped support for the Palm OS (I'd think so from the current news that the new OS is coming out and it will not run apps on older OS models), but I thought they stopped support for the Mac a while back. My last Treo 650 and Palm were given away a year ago. It was fine, but I didn't want to invest in tech that was not supported, especially once the iPhone came out. Cool
I see Palm is releasing the Palm Pre, whch looks very cool. Full screen and an actual keyboard (slide out). I'm not ready to go onscreen keyboard. It's difficult enough already texting while driving Smile
