I have a Treo 700p which syncs perfectly with my Mac G4 running Tiger 10.4.11 using NUTD 5.3.1. I Just got a Mac Pro running Leopard 10.5.5 and want to migrate over.
Since NUTD works well in my current environment and syncs *very* well, I'm nervous about the move.
Are there any issues I should know about?
1. Any issues with NUTD 5.3.2 and Leopard and syncing? 2. Does Palm have a Leopard compatible HotSync Mgr.? Any problems? 3. I've seem some mentions in the forums here of other sync apps/hacks, which leads me to wonder about Palm in this mix. Maybe that was just for iPhone though, I don't remember.

Unfortunately, it has been a long time since I switched to Leopard and NUTC 5.3, so I cannot remember if there was any particular problem I encountered with syncing to my Treo 700p. However, it does work and I have not really encountered any trouble. The only thing that kinda comes to mind is that after upgrading everything, I needed to download and reinstall the Palm Desktop to get the latest version of the Hot Sync Manager.
That said, I have been running this way for for quite a while now with little or no trouble.

One more thing about the hacks et al. I do not use anything beyond Leopard, NUDC and Palm's Hot Sync Manager to keep my Treo 700p in sync.
And I forgot to mention that updating the Palm Desktop for the Hot Sync Manager must be done LAST. If you install NUDC last you will loose the 'plug-in' you need.
Months away for me too... I'm not even sure if I did the mac upgrade before or after I started nighthawk but from memory of searching boards prior to upgrade there were issues for people... I'm using missing sync and had relatively few problems for what I do.

ARGH! I'm wrong! The PALM must come first, then NUDC! From the HD, look at Library/Application Support/Palm Hotsync/Conduits/. You should see inside that folder the "Now Contact Conduit" and the "Now Up-To-Date Conduit." Those are the two members that must exist for the syncing to work and if my memory serves they come from NOW and not PALM.
Sorry about that. Nice catch with the question about which files. Made me do the research instead of just trying to pull up from my brain. I've slept since then.
