I followed detailed instructions in a post here to export my life from ACT! 6.0 for Windows to Now Up to Date and Contact for the Mac. I thought the worst was over, but I can't find my notes or the group I.D.s for my 6,000 contacts. I'm sure I followed the step-by-step and mapped everything I could, but I can't find those fields in the Excel for Mac file or in NUTD. Is there anyone familiar with ACT! and the transfer of same who can advise me how to get these critical elements across the bar? Many thanks.
Did you ever get an answer to your question about Act? I too am considering moving over to Mac and use Act for Windows religiously.
Go carefully through the Act! settings, especially any pertaining to export. Most users we have talked to eventually found the setting to allow notes to export, but described it as 'buried' or 'hidden'. Unfortunalely, no one has shared exactly what that setting location is.
