EVERY time I try to use the export to vCard function for my several hundred contacts, Now Contact promptly crashes. Has this happened to any one else? Does anyone have suggestions on how to get my data out of Now Contact and into my Mac's Address Book? Puh-leeeeze!
“To move contacts easily from Now Contact to Address book, simply select the contacts you want to move (one at a time or en mas) and drag them to your computer's desktop. That will create a vcard file of the contact or contacts. Then drag that file to your Address book and they will import remarkably well.”
I can confirm that this indeed works but some fields are not transferred (contacts, notes, custom fields). YMMV...

Hey, Thanks for the response! If I drag my contacts as you described, will I end up with several hundred vCard files on my desktop?

Only if you drag them individually. If all are selected, and you drag to the desktop, it will be one file containing all of them.

Unfortunately, when I try to drag my contacts as a group onto the desktop as suggested, Now crashes - every time. I'm beginning to think I should have put up with the short-comings of Address Book instead of risking my contacts to Now.
