I've a backup server that grabs the calendar.db file from the Public Event Server folder in Applications. Will a .db file copied from an active database (taken at 1AM with nobody in the office) work again if restored? Or do I have to restore it from the .bu created by using the Backup File button in the admin tool?

Either one should work, as they are both copies of the original file. Just make sure Public Event Server is stopped/quit when you swap out the file.

Ahhh, there lies the problem. The server is backing up the file while the nutd server is still running. I'll just have to implement a new procedure for the morning To-Do list for a manual backup so the backup server can grab that file.
