Drop-down menu performance from QC is better for me with b3 but erratic. Sometimes it works quickly, and sometimes I get the several-second stall and spinning cursor as with b1. Lookups through QC are slow for me; on the order of 7-10 seconds between entry and the return of results. I don't know if this relates, but I get the following error messages in the Console log:
12/18/07 7:36:09 AM OmniWeb[788] Error loading /Library/Contextual Menu Items/GrabNGo.plugin/Contents/MacOS/GrabNGo: dlopen(/Library/Contextual Menu Items/GrabNGo.plugin/Contents/MacOS/GrabNGo, 262): no suitable image found. Did find: /Library/Contextual Menu Items/GrabNGo.plugin/Contents/MacOS/GrabNGo: mach-o, but wrong architecture
12/18/07 7:36:09 AM OmniWeb[788] Cannot find function pointer GrabNGoFactory for factory 3487BB5A-3E66-11D5-A64E-003065B300BC in CFBundle/CFPlugIn 0x172a5c00 </Library/Contextual Menu Items/GrabNGo.plugin> (bundle, not loaded)
I'll try removing the GrabnGo plugin and see if that makes any difference.

I wrote that it was much improved. But, now I am getting the SBOD action again. Not all the time, but some of the time. It just took 12 secs to open the pulldown menu for QuickContact.

Are you getting anything similar to what Dave Sawyer reported seeing in his Console Log? Functionally, at least, the issues seem similar.

Not sure. I am not an expert with the Console. I did see a number of these:
Quote:
12/20/07 10:12:27 AM Console[902] Error loading /Library/InputManagers/SafariBlock/SafariBlock.bundle/Contents/MacOS/SafariBlock: dlopen(/Library/InputManagers/SafariBlock/SafariBlock.bundle/Contents/MacOS/SafariBlock, 265): no suitable image found. Did find: /Library/InputManagers/SafariBlock/SafariBlock.bundle/Contents/MacOS/SafariBlock: mach-o, but wrong architecture
and yet I have not used Safari within the last few days. I removed the SafariBlock item. Restart.
QC worked correctly. Launched CaptainFTP and this is in the Console Log:
