and it landed on one corner on the concrete sidewalk! The glass cracked.

Will Apple fix it?

Yup, they'll fix it for $199. sick

So, moral of the story is: don't listen to people who say not to get a case for your phone. I don't know if it would have prevented the glass from breaking, but it couldn't have hurt.

The way it landed, right on the corner, is probably why it caused so much damage.

I feel sick right now. This will be my last iPhone. I am not going to be paying this amount of money for something that can be broken so easily.

For $199, is an upgrade about the same price? No insurance, huh?

I'm not due for an upgrade yet until next year. Just got this phone. It's the 32GB 3Gs one.

AT&T offers insurance but you had to have purchased it within the first 30 days.
