so far only 2 hard parts:

One of the screws holding the LCD (actually, the 1st one I tried to unscrew) was HARD to get loose. All the others were ok.

Heating up the glue to remove the glass. I only have a hair dryer, so it's taking a long time.

Got it together, but having issues with it starting up. First time, it started up just fine, but the touch screen wasn't working.

2nd time, it wouldn't go past the Apple. Not sure what to do.

The anticipation's killing me.
I assume we only get photos if it works, right?

Well, the touch screen doesn't work. I think it's the digitizer, which means that I'll probably have to buy another one. But this time not from ebay.

Hardest parts:
#1: getting the screws back in
#2: getting the paper off of the adhesive
#3: heating up the glue to get the glass off (not hard, just took longer than I expected
#4: putting the cables back in

Edit:
The phone does boot past the apple, just can't get the touch screen to work. Reading in the comments, I noticed mine doesn't say Apple on the digitizer cable. It says APPIE. This could be the problem, since the digitizer is what makes the touch work.

APPIE ? Is that Chinese for Apple

Anyway thats a bummer to go through all that hassle and not have it work .

Cables 1 and 2 clicked in? From the youtube link the guy says cable 1 is the touch screen.

yeah, they clicked in. #2 doesn't seem to actually click in though.
