I did the same thing with my iPhone, I gave up on it and bought a blackberry. Apple wouldn't do anything about it , they looked at it just to verify it was water damaged thus no warranty. After two weeks I couldn't stand the Blackberry anymore so I plugged it into the charger and all was good after it charged back up, still working fine maybe I'll make it till the the next version comes out. So just be Patient
