Make sure File Sharing in the Control Panels has a check box for TCP/IP sharing or you will have to install an Extension for it, I thinks it's "ShareWay IP Personal Bgnd".
Wouldn't it be easier to just take the hard drive out and put it in a case? Seems like you would get more use out of a cheap case, rather than buying the card.
Unless you have another use for the card/adapter.

The card was only $4 (and didn't work in the old machine). The HD in the PowerBook is SCSI, so getting an enclosure for that would be near impossible these days. The ZIP drive module works and I got a USB external ZIP drive for cheap, so I can transfer the needed files.
