Yup, Amazon is the way to go. Just re-upped mine, and redeemed a $10 coupon I forgot I had, so total cost is only $60 this year!

However had a problem renewing with the key code ? Did it 2 days ago , today got an email saying , that I did not renew <-- wtf

So re-did the whole thingy over again .

Well, interesting story there... My keycode from the Amazon box did work, but I was unable to then pay the extra $10 for an email-only account that I've ever since .Mac got started. I had to online chat with Apple to finally get the whole thing resolved, but not until they double charged my bank account for the $99 fee, then wiped my whole account out, then, with much finagling, finally got everything straightened out.

It turns out that since MobileMe was started, the $10 email-only accounts were dropped as an option, in favor of a $50 "Family Pack". In the end, I was able to retain my $10 account, but I'm not looking forward to renewal time next year!

Same thing here too - I think the problem was in deselecting the 10 dollar email only account , that was defaulted - then selecting the full Moble.Me and moving to the next screen ? Which sent me to somewhere else that did not make sense and was sorta locked into that screen .

Anyway sure could be much much more strait forward
