My favorite is number 8. An HP Touchsmart instead of an iMac. Stop fighting it.....get the Apple products.

I can't think of any. The Touchsmart is nowhere near an iMac.

You can say that again, I got on my son's new 22" iMac last night and it is one sweet puppy... and the magic mouse is heaven.

The 27" is ginormous! The iMac has a faster CPU, system bus, and RAM than the Touchsmart. If you want 2 - 3 year old components, get the Touchsmart.

The bulk of the comments against Apple have to do with being enslaved to the company. The computer itself, yes, I'm obliged to buy an Apple product cause I don't have the time to do the hackintosh thing. And yes, the OS is Apple-produced. But everything else is what I want it to be--with limits on the video card end of things, I understand. What's the difference with Windows? Well, the choice among computer manufacturers is there, of course. But that's it for difference in "enslavement." I mean, if I want to use an mp3 player other than an iPod, or if I want to install a new HD from whatever manufacturer, or if I want to use a music player other than iTunes. . . . I can do any of that, and so can a Windows user. Am I missing something?

I think what it is that you have a much broader range on the PC side to buy really buttt ugly crappy shiit <-- PCers seems to like having those choices .
